Call of Duty Elite will be released alongside MW3 as a monthly subscription service for all platforms. While it won’t be required to pay the monthly fee to get online to multiplayer, subscribing will give gamers access to bonus content not available through any other means. This will become the standard for all future Modern Warfare games. The total price per month has yet to be disclosed
Features that will be given to “Elite” subscribers are said to include “tools allowing players to analyse their behaviour and records.” Another important tidbit is that subscribers will be given access to “Elite” map packs.
This leaves us to wonder what the price will be per month, will it really be worth it, and what about the non-subscribers? Would any company pass up the chance to make money off of DLC map packs because they are for subscribers only?
EDIT: Thanks to a heads up from one of our friends on Facebook, we found this awesome video on YouTube. It made us laugh.
More information is thought to be announced during the E3 conference this week.

Great video…. best COD video I have seen. I dont know how I feel about the elite stuff yet. I mean, I frown upon monthly subscription stuff just to see stats and add the social aspect of it. So we already pay for DLC map packs etc. This way they deliver new maps while they suck your wallet every month. Sad really.. Its just Activision finding another way for us to bleed money from our assholes!
Uploading the banned YouTube video to Viddler, we should have it back up as soon as it’s done.
