Dust 514: The Next PS3/NGP Exclusive

This has been on the list to be posted since E3 was still going on, but as life has been hectic recently it fell to the wayside in the lonely queue of drafts. Anyhow, let’s get this party back on the road with some updated game news!

Dust 514, a first-person shooter spinoff of theimmesnely popular EVE Online MMO has been announced, and as expected will be the next exclusive for the Playstation 3. However, despite Dust 514 being a PS3 exclusive, and a separate game from the PC version of EVE, the two are said to be linked upon release, each affecting the progress and development of the in-game world.

It was also said at E3 that the Dust experience will go beyond the PS3 and incorporate the PS Vita as well. How this will be done isn’t exactly known yet, but we’ll be following of course!

Expect Dust 514 to be released to the Playstation only in Spring 2012.
