Hardline

It definitely felt like more of the same it just has a few different game modes which are pointless when everything is still respawn. Its a beta so I dont put too much into the graphics, but they did feel flat. I was also annoyed I couldn't jump up 20 feet in the air, damn it COD.

I have been watching some TWITCH video streams and reading forums and they are saying Hardline is faster with smaller maps and is more focused on gunplay without the helicoptors and vehicles known in the main BF games.  This looks more appealing to me as I suck at flying Jets and Coptors and just like straight up gun play.  Anyone picking this up?

I definitely won't be picking this up. FlyersFan and I have played a few rounds of BF4 and I've had my interest in the game re-instated.  I love the Battlefield series, but I'm far from finished with BF4.  Hell, I still get enjoyment from BF3 on PS3.

I will probably get this. I love cop games and will play though the story line. Online looked far to hectic for a respectable cop game though, not holding out high hopes for that.

I picked it up today and installed it.  What I like about it is no planes, tanks, or helicopters, its mainly boots on the ground with some modes with cars.  Its faster paced than large scales BF games and there are hostages extractions etc...

I am still up for some GTA Online goodness if anyone wants to train a noob in GTA online too.

I didnt have any intentions of getting it but if Kotaco is getting it, then I will get it as its been too long since I have played a shooter with THE Socom Unit 1!

lol. I still have Battlefield 4 as well.

Really looking forward to some GTAO once we all can figure out a time too

I should be free Friday night after you are off. Wife will be doing other things, and Bold is itchin to do some heists as well. Hopefully we can get the Canadian on board and have a full crew!

Weekend nights are out for me per usual, but, I'm online most nights, splitting my time across Diablo 3, GTA V and Destiny. I'm usually around between 8am and noon most mornings if some of you want to try to get a 4-man heist that way as well.

So I see more and more people on Hardline (Odin, Balz, FlyersFan)...how's everyone liking it?

I didn't want to, but I may have to pick this up.

Yeah Andy, its time to make the switch.  DirtNap has it as well.  Its my favorite online shooter this gen.  I wasn't a fan of BF4 and I tolerate COD but this one has some neat game modes like Blood Money (Rob a central money location or raid the enemy's stash),  and Rescue (Very much like Socom Extraction game modes where its 5 on 5 one life per round.)  I see this being a mainstay in my PS4 as my online shooter for the next year and all upcoming DLC.

Conquest Large and Small are still around from classic BF games but there is enough variety here to justify a purchase.

I like the game but it's not going to make me put bf4 away.  Hardline is fun, as Odin said, the new modes are cool but it is more a small map, quick action type game.  I like the war (tanks, choppers, jeeps, jets, and so on) aspect better than cops and robbers.  Hardline has cars and choppers but it's not the same; it almost has a run and gun feel to it and that isn't what battlefield is all about.

As of now, I like it better than cod aw but it's still behind bf4 for me.  I just got hardline yesterday so my opinion may change.
