Birds of Steel - WWII Flight Game

Has anyone checked out Birds of Prey?  How did I miss this one?  I am a big fan of flight games like Ace Combat and Heroes of the Pacific so I wanted to share since this one flew under the radar! (no pun intended).

This is a continuation of the IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey series.

If you are interested there is a demo on the PSN store to try out and has received good reviews across the board.  I know Balz likes these kind of games as well so I didnt want this to go unnoticed.

You are right Odin, I do heart WWII fighter plane games. However the IL Sturmokav was a bit of a let down as the flight control way pretty difficult.

Called Damage Inc. It looks promising.

Apparently the game you mentioned above is out so I will check the reviews and I just might pick it up. Love me some dogfighting.

hit up the demo on PSN...  it looks promising and the reviews are good.  and yes, that game by madcatz looks great!  Did you ever play heroes over the Pacific on PS2?  loved that one.

Just played the demo and really liked it.  I think I will pick this up.  The DEMO is pretty meaty.  Let me know what you think.  It handles like Ace Combat but much slower due to WWII planes.

it would be fun to have 4+ mXmbers dogfighting online!  Let me know what you think of the demo...  it starts out slow but then picks up in the later missions so you can get a feel of what it will be like.

I love it! Will definitely be picking this up. It's not at my local gamestop so I'll have to find it elsewhere.

Any reccomendations for other flight games?

Actually its Blazing Angels 2 Secret Missions. Its only 20 bucks so why not lol

Its pretty cool. I played em both. The first was my favorite though. In the Multiplayer, I was ranked 5th in the whole world. Me and my Shinden were like a big ninja with wings, and engines, and....guns. LOVED that game. On a side note, that was also when Decoy was living with me at the old place.

I picked up Blazing Angels 2 yesterday and I played it off and on all night lol. Its pretty fun.

I still have IL-2 on the PC and that game is crazy hard. Its as simulator as you can get. I have more fun trying to take off and land the big bombers lol.
I saw Hawx 2 so I may pick that up as well and the dude who manages the store said he would get Birds of Steel for me.

I think I am just going to order it off of Amazon.  It has DLC on the PSN store with 5 extra missions and new planes to fly.
